The cast and crew of Romeo and Juliet, Lansing High’s fall play are preparing tirelessly for opening night on Thursday.

Romeo and Juliet, “… Focuses on the conflict versus the love story that people are used to hearing about,” according to Director, Mr. McCord, “I am always excited for the audience to see it, so they can see the hard work that all the students put into the show.”

Senior Melody Brooks is amazed at how the set design and costumes turned out and believes that their show is, “… a lot more immersive than others.” Melody Brooks will be a Princess in the upcoming play.

Students at Lansing High may believe that they are familiar with the story but according to Sophomore Ellie Johnson, “It will keep you guessing.”

The show will go on at 7:00 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and tickets are $5 for every showing.
