With the girls Junior Varsity Tennis playing strong individually, they took on Basehor on Wednesday, September 11th and ended the night with a win.

While the girls are working hard and coming together as a team, especially with newcomers. “It’s going great, we are all super close and we love playing with each other. We’re on that dub trail,” said Junior Paige Miller.

The girls are all on the same track, have the same mindset, and show off their skills. “My main goal for this season is to play hard and finish each match with all my energy, hopefully making it to regionals,” said Senior Peyton Faulk.

They have a lot of time for preparation and to work on their work ethic with regionals being at the end of the season. “After playing Basehor I think we could work on footwork, other than the players and how they are playing I would have to say strategy is also one,” said Senior Lizzie Martin.

If you’re interested in seeing the girls in action they play Desoto September 16th, and Leavenworth September 17th.
