One Last Kick

As practice for fall sports begins, the members of the soccer, football, tennis, and cross country teams are excited to start their favorite sport. The boys soccer team started off strong with a late loss in overtime to Leavenworth. While it wasn’t their best game, they still tried to pull through and get a win. “I think we are on top of our game and will improve throughout the season”, Shemar said. While, the boys team hasn’t started off as strong as they want to, they believe that they’ll make a comeback and complete the rest of the season. “I think the season is going great so far, we have improved a lot since last season and I see a successful season coming this year” Shemar also stated. Senior captain Logan Hope will play a key factor in leading the team to it’s goal of winning season. “My main goal as captain is to break our losing streak and get 3-4 wins this season, it’s something we can definitely do.” The boys will work hard at practice during the week to prepare for their upcoming game against Seaman.
