The 2019 Marching Lions leave nearly 33 sets of this years show— Bohemian Rhapsody: The Music of Queen, on the stadium field by the end of band camp.

Led by this years Senior Drum Majors, Harrison Kurtz, Anne Strukel, and Sarah Wilson, students were required to attend both morning, afternoon practices, and sectionals held throughout the week. “It feels great to be apart of such a big group of people who are so talented and connected. I look forward to see how much we improve as the season goes on,” said Kurtz. Section leaders, directors, and band parents also helped assist. “We’ve definitely accomplished a lot more compared to last year in such a small amount of time,” said Junior Tenor Sax Section Leader Sarah Prather, “I’ve enjoyed teaching and getting to know the underclassmen.”

The band will continue to add sets throughout first hour on their practice field, and on Wednesday night practices as they prepare for the first home game on September 6, 2019.
