Tonight the Lansing Debate and Forensic team will be hosts the 4th Annual Lip Sync Battle. There will be 26 students competing that have all worked hard to coordinate their own performances in teams that range from 3-10. “This is our fourth year hosting, it’s always been a blast,” said Debate Teacher Sean Duff.

This event is held as a fundraiser for the Debate and Forensics team to help raise money for nationals. This year they will be sending 12 entries to compete at three end-of-season National Tournaments in Omaha, Milwaukee, and Dallas. “Last year’s champions were the Girls Swim team, who are coming back to defend their title,” said Duff.

Last year there was an entire teacher team 10th Hour. “We absolutely blew the doors off the auditorium, but this year I’m taking up the mantle of representing the teachers,” said Duff. If any other teachers or students want to join the group, they are still taking late entries
