Trump Disrespects the Family of a Fallen Soldier

In a personal phone call to the family of Sgt. La David Johnson, one of the four soldiers killed in Niger, President Donald Trump stated “he knew what he signed up for” in reference to Johnson’s death. His comment was made public when Representative Frederica Wilson spoke out about it in an interview, causing many to criticize Trump and the way he treats those in the military, veterans, and their families.

Justin Timberlake Will Perform at the Super Bowl

It has been announced that Justin Timberlake will headline the halftime show at the 52nd Super Bowl. He will be taking the stage 14 years after the infamous wardrobe malfunction Janet Jackson endured while performing at the 2004 Super Bowl. The malfunction caused controversy for the two stars as it exposed one 0f Jackson’s breasts, though she was the one banned from the Super Bowl performance stage. Many view Timberlake’s opportunity to perform as a double standard, as he was equally responsible for the misfortune.

Classified JFK Documents Will Be Released 

President Donald Trump has stated in a tweet that he plans on releasing classified documents concerning the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The release of these documents will add fuel to the conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination; Trump himself has made accusations about Kennedy’s death back in 2016 during the presidential campaign, stating that the father of Ted Cruz, one of Trump’s rivals at the time, was with Lee Harvey Oswald before the assassination took place.

One of the Victims of the Las Vegas Shooting Wakes Up From Coma

Tina Frost, one of the victims from the Las Vegas mass shooting that took place on Oct. 1st, woke up from a coma after she had been shot in the head. It was determined by her doctor that a full recovery from the injury would be difficult. However, she made a surprising milestone by awaking and walking. Doctors are already planning on moving her to a different hospital so that she can begin her recovery process.

Director Kevin Smith Will Donate All Proceeds from Harvey Weinstein Movies 

Director Kevin Smith has decided to donate all the fundings he had received from movies that were produced by Harvey Weinstein to the charity Women in Film. After the sexual assault allegations of Weinstein became public, many were quick to condemn the actions of the producer, including Smith.
