Creative Writing II and National English Honors Students are working on starting a Literary Magazine for Lansing High. The Lit Mag will consist of various submissions by Lansing High school students.

“I’m really excited for all the pictures and the writing and to see what people come up with and for the final outcome,” sophomore Kelsey East said.

The Lit Mag will be sold some time in April for people to have and read. The idea is that it will help students to learn how to submit their pieces and how to run something that will be published.

“I’m excited to see where [the students] imaginations can take them.” sophomore Maggie Curtain said.

To submit an piece you must email  lhslitmag@lansinglions.org  and get a form either in the library or from Mr. McCord or Mrs. Waters. Art, poetry, graphic designs, photography, and short stories are all welcome and wanted. Once submitted, a panel of teachers and students will judge the work and decide if it will be put in the Lit Mag. Submissions are due by February 25th.
